Some Fun News

Yesterday turned out to be not such a bad day after all. No, nobody got a real paying job, but then I only had to tell my sad story to 2 bill collectors, so that made it a good day all by it self! Barry didn't get the interview he had hoped for. The job seemed to get filled with an "insider" already with the company. That hurt because he would have been perfect for what they were looking for, but after a year of hearing that news, it didn't hurt as much. I went out to visit a wonderful scrapbook store about 40 minutes from me called Scrapin Bunnies. Emily who is the owner is the sweetest lady. While I was there trying to see what a few bucks would buy, Em asked if I'd make some samples for her! True, not a paying job in $$$, but I always like getting free paper and stamps. In addition everything in the store was on sale, so I picked up a few things. Now that's what I call a successful day! I've been busy working on the cards for Em this morning. I hope to get about 5 or 6 made so I can get them back to her this weekend. I'll post them when I get them all done. Tomorrow I'll be posting a new card made using the stamp from Hanna Stamps. It's the first of 3 different things we have to do for the next phase of the design contest. You'll love the new stamp!
It's been raining like cats and dogs this morning since about 5. What a way to wake up! Lighting and thunder. At least it's stop raining for now. My yard has had plenty of water! We are suppose to go to the Ranger game tonight. We still have free tickets left from the ones the kids gave us for the holidays. We're hoping to get there. It's free cap night and I can always use another Texas Ranger's Baseball Cap! My collection is growing.
I'm off to the shower right now then I need to get to the post office. I sold several cards. I still have plenty left if you're interested in any. They are a bargain at the price!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs & Blessing!

  1. Paula - Great that you got asked to do some local design work.

And glad to hear the update on Hanna Stamps. I was wondering how that was going.
