MORE SWEET DIGITAL IMAGE CARDS

I make cards most days. It's what I do, it's who I am, but some days you make cards that you just want to keep looking and looking at. Today's cards are just that! Both cards are made using Deedee's Digis images. You know sometimes you have a picture in your mind before you create and sometimes it works and sometimes it just grows, well both cards are that too! The first card was made using a verse from the new baking set of images and the gingerbread people where from a set of images that Deedee made last year. That's the nice thing about digital images. You can resize them and make them just what you want. The second card is one of my favorite images. I love this little bear guy. It's hard to see in the scan, but I used some lace at the bottom of the card along with lots of buttons to give it a country feel.
Last night we baby sit for Madelyn while her parents when to Evan's for a Halloween party. We love spending time with her. It's hard to believe she's 7 already. My baby grand daughter is getting so big! Barry went into work this morning, but he won't be there long, I hope. We have no plans for today. I think we'll just chill out a bit and then watch the next Rangers game tonight! What a great win last night!
Have a wonderful day and please check out my new cards in my Etsy store!

TGIF!

STAMPIN UP SET OF PAD AND MATCHING COFFEE FRIENDSHIP HANMADE CARDSTAMPIN UP LET IT SNOW SNOWMAN MERRY CHRISTMAS HANDMADE CARD
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM SWEET INNOCENCE BALLOON GIRL HANDMADE CARD
Can you guess what I got uploaded into my Etsy store yesterday? Yes, new cards! I was able to go to my son Larry's house and scan about 20 new pieces in and then he put them on a memory stick which I was able to use on Evan's computer. The pictures aren't as good as when I use my Cannon, but they'll do! I even sold some of the new cards! The first card is made using a really old SU set of stamps. I love anything that has to do with coffee. I can almost smell it when I use this set. There is a matching JR legal pad in the set. The second card is also using a older SU set. I added the bottom circle for the snowman by using a circle punch and just drawing inside the circle before I punched it out. The last card is using one of my favorite little girls. She's from Heather Ellis's collection of digi images. She's pretty in purple.
Have a good day and hurry back!

TODAY I'M JUST TOO TIRED TO CARE!

SWEET FROG AND FRIEND HANDMADE CARD
Do you ever just have those days where you really just don't care enough to wake up? I think that's me today! I had to get up to fix something for Barry before he went off to work, but if I didn't have to do that, I still would be in bed! I'm feeling really depressed this morning. I went to bed this way. It wasn't just the Texas Rangers lossing, but just everything in my life. Without being able to sell my cards, our money is almost gone. I made the last pot of coffee this morning and we're down to the last roll of toliet paper! Have you ever heard of such a lousy start to a day? I'm going to see if somehow I can scan some pictures in at Larry's house and try to upload them. I don't know if that will work, but I have about 20 brand new cards to sell and more on the way. Do you like Mr Frog? I just love this card, and guess where he is? If you guessed my Etsy store, you're the winner!
Enough of my whinning without the cheese this morning. I have to go and do something. By something, I'm thinking back to bed for a while more and then the cards. I have a Riley the Moose on skies half done on my desk. Too cute!
Have a grand day and hurry back. I'm sure I'll get over my self pity shortly. I don't wollow too long!

ANOTHER SWEET HOLIDAY BEAR

SWEET HOLIDAY BEAR SENDING WARM HUGS HANDMADE CARD

Isn't she darling? You know you think so and so do I! She was made last week and added to my Etsy store and away she went to a new home! I would love to make more, but without the printer I can't print, but hopefully I'll be back soon and make lots more of these sweet bear girls! The paper is part of the new Basic Grey holiday papers, except for the musical note paper. That's from a DCWV holiday pad.
 Wonderful, aren't they? Oh yes!
Barry didn't enjoy his first day full time. He has to learn some accounting stuff and he's all for that, but the lady who is suppose to be training him is not the brightest night light around, if you know what I mean and her methods are way out there. I hope it gets better for him tomorrow. When he came home for lunch he wondered if he made a mistake. NO, NO, NO!
Well, that's it for me. I have so many new cards made. I did some really sweet one's, but it seems I sold off so many of my holiday stamps last year trying to raise so money, that I'm a bit short in the set department. That wouldn't be a problem if I could download some images, but at the moment we're still dealing with out our computer. I can't wait to get mine back. Hopefully I'll still have customers left at the store. I usually have people email and say send me X amount of cards and how many of each they want, but of course they aren't doing that now....just when I really need the money. I'm trying to figure out how to stretch the 18 bucks I have until the end of the week! We put gas in Barry's car, but left mine on the big E. That's OK except now that he's working full time, I have to wait to do anything. I want to win the LOTTO! I know I'm dreaming again, back to making cards for me.
Have a great day and hurry back.

P

BETTER LATE THEN NEVER

GIVE THANKS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON FOR THE WONDROUS WORKS HANDMADE CARD
You know I missed the blog hop last Friday, so now I'm showing you the card I had planned on sharing that day. It's so pretty using the a set of images called Wonderful Thanksgiving. It can be found at Deedee's Digis. It's also in my Etsy store. I've made several more with different Psalm's, but I'm unable to get any pictures uploaded to my borrowed computer! It's such a shame. I have pretty, pretty cards to sell and can't get them in the store!
Barry was up bright and early this morning. Today he starts working at the Assisted Living Home 8-4. That my friends is a very good thing. No more money then he was making before, but more hours. I pray it works out. I've been praying for a full time IT job and you see what it's gotten me, so I hold out no extra hope on this one either!
Have a wonderful day. It's suppose to be nice and cool here in Dallas, at least for the day!
Hugs,

Little Miss Piggy!

I know it's the greatest picture, but because I still can't upload from my own files or my camera right now, I took this one from a facebook picture that Evan posted of Coco. She's all dressed up in her Halloween finery! She's going to a little pig! She does make piggy like noises, so the outfit is perfect for her!
We're still without our computer, which means still without a way to add all the new cards to my shop, but if anyone is interested, there is still LOTS of pretty cards in the Etsy store! What I miss the most about not having files, camera and printer, is being able to upload any new freebie images! I know, it's the little things in life that make life worth living!
That's if for today. Nothing else is happening to the Bloom's (I hope!)
Hugs,
P

Missing In Action

I guess and hope everyone has been wondering where oh where I've been for the last week. Nothing good has happened. My computer wanted to play dead and we haven't been able to get on in all that time. We did hit the library once and Larry's house once, but it really wasn't working that way. Today Evan bought over his laptop for us to use. I don't have a way to upload my pictures, so I won't be adding anything new to this page or my Etsy store and that really sucks!
Yesterday was my birthday and I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful message I was finally able to get. It was a very slow day for me. Barry went out to a Lion's thing all morning. Evan came over and tried to fix our computer once again. He ended up taking it with him to give to his GF's friend to fix. He's suppose to be able to fix anything. Barry worked last night and we went to Jersey Mike's at almost 9 to get subs. Yea, what a birthday! Today we had lunch with the kids and now Barry's back to work.
I've been working on cards to add to the store, but I don't have a clue as to when. It really hurts because we don't have that money coming from my sales. I don't think I ever want to be 61 again! A birthday to forget!
That's it for now. Again, thanks for everyone's good wishes for my birthday. Next year, please send money!!!
Just kidding, cards are good too!
Hugs,
P

NOSE'S ANYONE?

He's a fun guy to have around at this time of the year! He's all decked out with brand new BG holiday paper and some more of that wrinkled shabby ribbon that's all over my desk! I wish I had all the colors, but I guess I'll have to do with what I've got. Too bad I have to pay the water bill today. It would have been so much more fun to get more goodies! Someday when my ship comes in! The image is from Deedee's Digis. They are wonderful to work with!
Put it on your calendar to come back Friday. We're having a blog hop and lots of prizes will be given out. I'll be giving one on my blog as well.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

WHIMSIE DOODLES MONDAY GUEST DESIGNER

Going back to a design team as a guest is wonderful! I had six months of fun, fun, fun while I worked with the great gals over at Whimsie Doodles and was pleased to be their guest for the month of Ocober. Today's image is from the newest release. He's Snowboy with Stars! I wanted to do something fun and little different so I created a mini scrapbook and a matching tag. The tag would be perfect ot hang on a gift bag! I used lots of differetent papers to make up the pair. The album was made using white chipboard and my largest long nesttie. It's about 6 x 3. I added several pieces of white cardstock and lots of goodies to finish up the gift. The tag was made using scraps of paper, another large snowflake and more of the wrinkled shabby ribbon.
Check out all the images over at Whimsie Doodles. They are fun and easy to use!
Have a wonderful day and hurry back!

A FEW NEW CARDS FOR THE WEEK!

Good Saturday morning! Today I'm sharing 2 new cards that I made yesterday. Both are using some Heather Ellis digital images that I love so much. The first one uses the new bargin priced Nestie. I love using different colors for holiday cards and both these projects show just that!
Enjoy your day!

FRIDAY, FRIDAY, THANK GOODNESS!

I think just saying TGIF is all that's necessary today! It's been a long week and I for one, am glad that the weekend is finally here! Our Texas Rangers start playing ball again tonight! The big bad Yank's come to town!
 GO RANGERS!
Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made (and sold) earlier this week for Deedee's Digis. I really love the way it turned out. It's from one of her new sets called Words of Thanksgiving. I was looking for the right papers to make this card when I came across these from an SU collection from several years ago and thought pink and brown would be a pretty match up. I even found a brad that went perfectly with the card. I was looking for ribbon to go on the card when I happened to find a paper flower that had the brad in it already. I must have put it together at one time. So I took the brad out and perfection!
Barry is off this morning bright and early to the VA for his annual check-up for the cancer. Because some of the tests he's already had didn't come back with good results, they're going to do more testing. It always seems to be something. I hope everything turns out well! I really need to work on cards today, so I didn't go with him. All I would do would be to sit around and wait, so at least I can stay at home and wait and maybe get something done!
I'm off get some coffee before I move on to anything bigger! Make sure you come back on Monday. I'll be sharing some new things. I am the guest designer for Whimsie Doodles for the month of Oct and I'll be posting the new things I've made! It's very exciting to work with that group again this month!
Big Hugs, and Go Rangers!

SOMETHING FOR THE BOYS!

I know we all struggle when it comes to making cards for the men in our lives and at least some of us have had requests for cards for the guys because it is so hard to find a nice handmade one, so that was my quest for Sunday. Make something easy and fun! I think I met the test! I used several SU sets of stamps. The truck came from one set, and the birthday verse came from Upsy Daisy. The cute plaid paper was part of a RAK from a friend and the metal was too. The metal was from Jeanine and the paper came from Amy. Isn't it a blessing to have good friends?
Next to Barry finding a job, a good day is when you wake up and have sales in your Etsy store. 2 days in a row that's happened and I am so grateful for those sales. My buyers think they are getting the best for their money when they buy a card, but in truth, I get the better end of the sale because it keeps food on our table and today gas in the car. I know I said having good friends is a blessing, so you know how I feel about wonderful customers! Now I need to refill my store!
Have a great day and hurry back!
Hugs,
P

NOTHIN IS BETTER THEN SNOW FRIENDS!

First let me say that my heart goes out to Deedee and her family with the loss of her beloved Grandmother. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Today's card is made using the new digial set called Just Chillin. Like all of Deedee's sets, this one is so fun to work with! I printed out two images of the bear and then cut one with my oval die so it would appear that the bear is sitting in the snowpile. The second one is popped up on pop dots. All the printed papers are from my never ending pile that grows on my desk. Someday I know I'll find the bottom!

MONDAY'S CHALLENGE!

Today is Embellished Scripture challenge and as soon as I saw this verse I knew I had my card made! Both the flowers and verse are new from Deedee's Digis. The idea was to use our favorite embellishment and of course mine is ribbon! Couldn't live without it! I combined two different sets of images for this card to show you how wonderful mixing and matching can be!
Enjoy the day and hurry back. I have another special card to share tomorrow!

WHEN YOU'RE ON A ROLL, GO WITH IT!

I guess we never know if that ROLL is uphill or downhill until we reach our goals, so I'll just keep on rollin'!
I was on a roll with making fun new bear cards yesterday. This was only the second one I made. I even did a third one, but I'll save that one to show you later. If you want to see all the newest cards I've made, check out my Etsy shop. The cards are over there and reasonably priced! This sweet card was made using another of Deedee's newest digital creations. Isn't she the best? She's even got very girlie eyelashes! I remembered where I put some of my holiday buttons and dug the gingerbread cookie cutter out and added it to the card. I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. I'm trying to use some different layouts that help me use up the scraps. I don't think I'll even reach the bottom of that pile, but I'm trying!
Have a wonderful Sunday and hurry back!

JUST CHILLIN'!

My, oh my, isn't he the cutest bear you've seen today! He's a brand new, and I mean brand new digital image just released last night from Deedee ! I went to bed with idea's dancing in my head and as soon as Barry went out this morning to a Lion's thing, I got to work! I pulled out all sizes of scraps sitting on my desk. Some is Bo Bunny, so I don't have a clue and the gems are from M's $ bin. He's now going in my Etsy store. I have several more printed out to make a few more cards.
Today I have most of the day to myself to play. I'd love to go shopping, but of course I don't have the money for that, so I make do with what I have. It's just the wants sometimes take over and it's hard to do anything. Do you ever have that problem? I mean, that you just don't do anything because you can't make up your mind as to "what" to do! Barry left early this morning to pick up Brian at the Assisted Living Home. He's our friend who lives there and is in the Lion's Club with Barry. They are going to spend until around noon or one at something called Challenge Air. It's a great program that brings special needs children and pilots together. The people who fly donate their time to take children up in the air who might have never had the chance. It's a nationwide program and in Dallas the Lions help out. Then Barry has to work at 4, so I really have a lot of time to do something. I know, anything!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

CAN YOU BELEIVE IT'S FRIDAY?

Where has the week gone? Boy I bet I'm not the only who's asking that question! Well, I say enjoy the day. It's suppose to nice and sunny in Dallas and I plan on getting out and getting some fresh air today. That is after I do some work! OH well, maybe!
This sweet card was made using a fun $ stamp I got at J's. Cute? Yes, I think so. The paper is some that I found in my stash and of course more of that wonderful wrinkled ribbon I love using. Mr Frog is among all those cards still sitting in my etsy store waiting for a new home. I did sell some cards yesterday, but I won't get the money for them until next week. E Checks kill me! I understand that people don't want to keep a lot of money in your paypal account, but for those of us who depend on the sales we make, it's hard to have to wait 3-5 days it takes for the check to clear!

Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

THINK WINTER!

So maybe it's not Winter yet, but you can't wait until it's really cold to start making your Christmas cards, can you? The answer is to hurry over to Deedee's and grab up one of her holiday digis and start coloring!
What a ballgame the TX Rangers played yesterday! Since Barry was called into work, I went over to Larry's myself and watched the game with him. What a good son! He got pizza and bread sticks and chocolate candy! The team plays again today, but I'll stay home and watch from my own room today. I hope the boys keep up the good work!
Enjoy the day!

A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY, A LITTLE BIT ROCK N ROLL!

If you remember hearing that song a long, long time ago, you're getting old(er)! Good ole Donny and Marie. I don't have a clue as to way it popped into my head, it just did when I was looking for a title to this post! Any who, this card was made using an image I've had for sometime. It's a Riley and Sophie stamp. It was sent to me in digi form and there it sat, until today! I just love the way it turned out. I used some Basic Grey papers from that never ending stash (thank goodness), and a moose stamp I picked up in my travels to turn out what I think is a really cute card! Of course I had to add some more of the wrinkled ribbon that I so love to use. Patsy has the best!
Today is the start of the post-season for my Texas Rangers baseball team! It's been 11 years since they've been playing this late in the year and it's going to be so fun. Barry and I are headed over to Larry's to watch on his big screen TV and have pizza! I've bringing the nacho chips and dip. What would a ballgame be without nachos!
I want to ask a question to anyone who sells their cards. Are you selling anything right now? I feel like my cards have again walked in the ugly forest because they aren't selling! I don't understand it. I'm at loss as to why! I have almost 4 dozen at my Etsy store. I don't even want to make more because I don't want to keep feeding the Etsy company with fees. If you have any answers, please, please, please let me know! I'm ready to start on holiday cards, but I'm not sure of if they'll even sell.
Such is life! Enjoy your day. I'm writing this on Tuesday night because I have so much to do when I get up in the morning before we have to be at Larry's and I want to get it all done before I go, so if I've missed anything BIG in our lives, I'll let you know!
IT'S TIME!

GIRLS JUST GOTTA HAVE A BUCK STAMP!

Do you like the new stamp? It started off as an innocent visit to J's to look for something for Barry, and because what he wanted was only on sale for 10% and they wouldn't let me use my 40% coupon, I was looking around while he was huffing and puffing. Can I help it if this $ stamp called me over and said "hey". It was love at first site and the next thing I knew, it was coming home with me! Oh the shame of buying a stamp--OK so maybe it didn't happen exactly like that, but it was really close!
The paper is from a pad I got several years ago and dug out with only 1/2 sheet used! Talk about shame. I've made several cards so far using this wonderful rich colored paper. Of course nothing finishes off a card for me these days like some of the wonderful ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique. I love Patsy ribbon. I've seen lots of the wrinkled ribbon on Etsy, and I can't say if one is better then the rest, but Patsy's is so beautiful and easy to work with, and it's a wonderful deal for the money! Please help support other artist!
Barry is working today. They called at 6:30 and I'm a happy camper to have the day to myself! YEA! What to do, what to do!
I'm off to do something, Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
P

IT'S MONDAY! DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR BEAR IS?

I have this new feature on blogger to make my pictures pretty much any size I want, so today I chose Large! You get to really see the balloons all popped up this way. Cool! Mr Birthday Bear is a digi image that I grabbed off the net a few weeks ago and then forgot about, until this weekend. I think he's so sweet and ready to come flying out to someones home! HINT. HINT, he's in my Etsy store! I marked down all the Halloween cards. I'm hoping they sell better. I sold 2 whole cards this past week. WOW! What a week! I do have some new images from Deedee that I got last night and I can't wait to play with them. Today seems like a lost day for crafting, but tomorrow I hope to get there. Stay turned!
Have a great night, and hurry back!

MOJO HAS BEEN MIA ALL WEEK!

You know how sometimes you just can't get in the groove creating, well, that's been me all week! I haven't made anything, but I'm trying to work out of the funk today. Yea, I know, here I sit at the computer when I should be doing something, but as I said, I'm working on it! Today's card is one I made for my Etsy store. I have so many cards left in my store that I think maybe that's the reason I haven't done anything. NOTHING has sold this week! Not ONE lousy card! Can you see where I'm coming from? I am trying to work out of this funk. I AM!
Nothing is good in my world right now. Barry's dad is not doing well at all. They found more Cancer and he's not going to take any more treatments. He's had it at 92. It will just be a matter of time. We don't know how much, but not alot. Barry didn't get the job he interviewed for and nothing else has come up. We have no money, and nothing else to lose. Life in general sucks! One bright note, our son Larry has a job interview on Monday. He's been out of work now too. I'd ask you to say a prayer for him, but I'm not even sure that those are helping anymore. Nothing seems to make anything right anymore. I want to run away, but then I'd have to have gas money for that and right now we can only afford to keep gas in one card, not both! I just can't get over how sorry my world has become. Please forgive me if you think I'm whining again, I'm not. I'm just lost in my own self pity right now and don't know how this will end, but I do know it will end soon one way or another.
Hugs,
P
