BLACK CLOUD GO AWAY FROM MY DOOR!

So why, oh why, is that black cloud still hanging around our door? Never gives us a break! Yesterday Barry's hours were cut back to just the weekend starting next week! Great idea at the holidays! Go from 35 hours to 8 a week! I think today is just of those days that it's more then I can take! Tomorrow is the first night of Hanukkah and I have only one gift to give to anyone. Madelyn is getting a gift and that's it. I feel so bad. I was planning on baking some gifts this year, but with paying Barry's ticket yesterday, I just want to feed us until next when he gets paid again. My cards aren't selling anywhere they need to be to make it, and at this point I'm lost! On top of that, I have some yuck stuff going on in my chest and I've been up since 4. Now I need to go and nap!
Please just enjoy this card I made a while ago. I think I need to dig out this set again. It MFT's Pure Innocence!

CAN YOU GIVE THANKS?

Isn't that always the question to be answered! Can we give thanks for what we have and not for what we don't? I know it's hard to do. I know this because the last several years have been a living Hell for us. I know this because each day I wake up and pray it's going to be a better day then yesterday. And I know this because I spent a wonderful day with our sons on Thanksgiving and had a blessed dinner with those I love. Barry and I made it through the weekend without killing each other, and he got the trash out this morning! If that's not something to be thankful for, well then, it beats me!
The cards I've added today are digi images from Deedee's Digis store. There is a whole LARGE sheet of Psalms included. One's that will touch your soul and life you up. Check them all out. She's even got a great new puppy digi this morning for just a $!
I've started the wash already and now have to finish cleaning up the kitchen. I made a turkey yesterday and I got the pot cleaned up, but I still have a few things to add to the dishwasher---it's never ending!
Have a great day and if you'd like a few cards to add to your collection that are priced just right, check out my Etsy store! Save your own card stock for Valentine's Day cards!

Here Is Nothing Like A New Pair of Unddies!

I know I'm not the only one who's gotten socks or underpants for the holidays---oh please don't let me be the only one who's gotten that gift! It's funny because I carried on the tradition of giving socks to my boys for so many years, and of course, they complained each and every year, so several years back, I stopped. Guess what, they wanted to know where their socks where! They had gotten out of the habit of buying them for themselves! Funny how that happened!
Back to the card. It's an image from Dustin Pike. I think it's so funny and loved the way the card turned out. I just added it to my Etsy store. I hope it flies out the door very soon. I think I'll print off some more later today and make a few additional ones.
Yesterday I didn't move out of my PJ's at all. We were very lazy and today is more of the same. I did sell a few cards that I have to pack up for shipment tomorrow and I'm going to cook our turkey we got at the store last week. Other then that, I plan on watching the movies I've added to the DVR.
Have a wonderful day and hurry back!
Hugs,
P

SO MANY THANKS!

I'VE ADDED A COUPON TO MY ETSY STORE FOR THE WEEKEND TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE. THE CODE IS
                                                                    BLKFRIDAY
IT RUNS FROM NOW UNTIL SUNDAY NIGHT!

I got a little carried away yesterday with making Thank You cards! I thought they would be fun, quick, and easy! They were! The only shopping I did for Black Friday was a little at Michael's. I got Madelyn her gift, bought a new paper cutter on sale, and a pad of DCWV. The pad was 50% off and then I got my 25% off the whole purchase. All in all, I'd say I did just fine! I found some felt flowers in my stash and added those to these cards.
Both sets of cards have the flowers and I added a Martha butterfly punch to each one! A bit of wrinkled ribbon and they were done!
Barry worked all day yesterday but now he's off for the weekend. We don't have plans yet. I think I'll let him sleep. He's been fighting a cold coming on and he won't take the medicine for his cough that would make him feel better! Drives me crazy with his cough. If I was the one who was coughing like he is, he'd be all over my case to take the pills, but he's a MAN and doesn't need to be told! I'd like him to be sick, but then I'd be the one to take care of him and I'd rather not!
So, what bargains did you get yesterday? Share with the rest of us!
Have a great day and stay warm!
Hugs,
P

We Ate Too Much!

I'VE ADDED A COUPON TO MY ETSY STORE FOR THE WEEKEND TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE. THE CODE IS
            BLKFRIDAY
IT RUNS FROM NOW UNTIL SUNDAY NIGHT!

We ate too much! A comment heard around the world! So sad, but true! And every bit of food was wonderful yesterday and they will make fine leftover today! We had a great dinner last night with the family. Evan and Larry are wonderful cooks. I got to spend the day with both of them and they didn't try to kill each other once, ok, maybe a little, but we all walked out with all our limbs in tact!
Larry picked me up around 10, but before he came I created a little. Both of these cards were easy to do since I had printed out the images the night before. While for some other paper in my stash, I ran across this plaid. It's one I really love because I think the purple and green can be used any time of the year. Both cards have been added to my Etsy store and are sale this weekend for an extra 10% off.
Barry has gone off to work and I'm heading over to M's to get a gift for Madelyn. That's my only holiday shopping this year. She's easy to please. Now if they still have any of the things she wanted!
Have a safe day and hurry back,
Hugs,
P

THE FAMILY WE ARE THANKFUL FOR!

I'VE ADDED A COUPON TO MY ETSY STORE FOR THE WEEKEND TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE. THE CODE IS
BLKFRIDAY
IT RUNS FROM NOW UNTIL SUNDAY NIGHT!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and family! You'll never know how much love I have gotten from everyone and how much it has helped me day by day.
I am spending the day with my sons while they cook our wonderful dinner. Barry has to work at the Assisted Living home today and I get to see our son's puppy Coco Bloom. Madelyn was at our home yesterday and made a gift for Uncle Evan. She colored one of those blank fish frames that you get for $ at the craft stores. She wanted to add a picture of Coco and this is the one she picked out from our album. I don't know who's sweeter, her or Coco! Just kidding---there's nothing sweeter then puppy kisses!
Have a wonderful day and remember to count all your blessing!
Love and Hugs,
Paula

BIG SALE OVER AT ETSY STORE!

I'VE ADDED A COUPON TO MY ETSY STORE FOR THE WEEKEND TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE. THE CODE IS
BLKFRIDAY
IT RUNS FROM NOW UNTIL SUNDAY NIGHT!

This is a second posting for today, so please check the one below to see the new cards for today!

GUESS WHO'S COMING TO VISIT TODAY!

If you guessed Madelyn, you guessed right! She was coming today to visit and then her Daddy called to say he had an interview and could she come earlier in the morning. What a silly question! She's welcome to come anytime of the day or night---so she'll be here soon. Larry has a job that starts on Monday, but it's only a 11 week contract, so he's still interviewing for full time work. I remember what it was like to be without work when we had the children home. It's hard. I pray he gets a good job soon. Heck, I pray everyday for Barry to get a good job soon, and you see where that has gotten me. I keep trying!
Now onto the pictures. The first card was made using a Whimsie Doodles image. I really like the snowfolks. I had a bit of black lace and added it to the card. The printed paper is BG. The song paper is from Hobby Lobby.
The second card is another in a long line of Moose Folks! Yup, Riley is playing hockey today.
The last picture is of a pad and card set made using one of my favorite SU stamp sets. I love all the coffee ones. All these can be found in my Etsy store. All are priced to sell and get a new loving home!
Well, I'm off to see what I can get done before Madelyn comes to visit. Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
P

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAOVRITE THINGS

Yes, Virginia, there is a holiday coming up soon and all good girls and guys should go and visit Paula's Etsy store and grab up all the beautiful handmade cards, tags, and pretty little mini albums! And then the Bloom household will have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
THE END!
Did you like my story? I thought it should end on a happy note and when you see all the lovely things in my Etsy store, you'll be happy you did!
Aren't they the cutest cards you've seen today? I'm sure the answer was YES! The first card and tag was made using a fun new birthday digi from Deedee's Digis. Please check out all her items. They are so sweet and I love working with them and all the other members of the team! I saw the layout over at another blog and fell in love with the idea. I changed up the stamps and papers, but keep the layout. The tag was made to go with it. I've seen so many tags around and thought I'd give it a try! Love the set!
The last card is from Riley The Moose. You can never have too many Moose folks in your home. Riley and Sophie however, are very clean and fun to play with!
Got to get ready for Thanksgiving at Evan's house. I now have my list of the things I'll need to bring. I can't wait to share the day with my family. They are each so special in their own way. I love them all. Now off to the store to shop. Oh yea, I think I should make a list first, then get dressed, and then off to the store!
Well, anyway, it makes for a good story!
Hugs,
P

YOU MAKE ME SMILE, SILLY!

I don't know why because these crazy little monsters make me smile! Aren't they fun! They are made from a digi from Pink Paislee and a Hero Arts little saying!
We have a winner from the blog hop on Friday!
STEPHAINE
Please email Deedee at amiste@sonic.net. Let her know which images you want for your prize! Congrats!
I don't know about anyone else, but I've been stampin up a storm and have a TON of cards for sale in my Etsy store. If you need any in a hurry and don't want to get all your stuff out to play, check them out!
Barry has Lion's Club tonight, so I don't have to cook dinner! YEa, I have lots of cleaning to get done today, so hopefully I'll get to play later on!
Have a great day!

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING!

WOW the start of new week, a new beginning! It's always so nice to think that's going to happen! Hope springs up on Sundays I think. I don't where you are in this world, but it's early Sunday morning in Texas, and I'm busy creating some more cards for my Etsy store! I've finished up 2 already this morning. I have been busy and with only 1 cup of coffee, it's truly a miracle! It helps when you print out or stamp your images before you go to bed, then there is no excuse of not having things ready to play with! Don't worry, I still use that excuse! Today's card is made using a from Riley the Moose. I've made up several for my store. He's just a hoot! I had some hiking Riley's as well, but they sold, so I popped another one out this morning and he'll go in the store later today!
It's going to be a lazy day at our house. Barry is napping already while I play. It's been a long week for him. He has to work on Thanksgiving, so we'll have dinner at Evan's house later in the day. I have to bring dessert and gravy. The gravy I've got covered already. Dessert is a different matter. Something lite because after ham and turkey, something small and sweet has got to be good! I have to put my thinking cap on for that!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING TO YOU!

Oh my, wasn't yesterday blog hop fun! It was so nice of everyone to leave a sweet comment! It's good to have friends! Thank you all so much! I just hope you all are now ready to get some of your own handmade gifts ready for giving!
Today I'm showing off a few new cards I made. I love the Riley stamps. They are some fun to make cards with. They always were and still remain one of those stamps that call out to me to use! Just like the little MFT Pure Innocence girls, the Moose folks call me too! The pirate is from Bugaboo, and I added the treasure chest from SU. Both these cards are in my Etsy shop waiting for a new home! Really, they are priced just right!
Have a blessed day and hurry back!
Hugs,
P

GIFTS OF GIVING BLOG HOP!

The holiday season is upon us -- a blessed time of love and laughter, precious moments spent with family, good food aplenty, and, for many of us, gifts and giving. Now, we can almost hear the chorus of groans at that last part -- LOL! Yes, holiday gift giving can be stressful, especially when budgets are tight, gift lists are long, and the pressure is on to "shop 'til you drop." Well, we of the Deedees Digis design team firmly believe that gift-giving should be a joyful experience all the way around. That's why we have come together today to share with you some ideas of fabulous gifts that you can make, so that your gifts this year are meaningful, affordable, and hopefully as stress-free as possible. Join us today on our blog hop as we show you why "'tis better to give" -- because not only will you have fun giving these gifts, but making them as well! :-)
If this is your first stop on the hop, be sure to visit the Crafting with Deedee's Digis blog, where you will find the directions for the hop, a chance to win the grand prize of a $15 credit to our store, AND a little gift for you!
Today's card is using a fun new set called Lovin From The Oven! You may have noticed candy in the baking gift bag today. I don't bake anymore, so I used some sweet candy instead. I'm sure the person who gets the gift will be just as happy with the candy!
Your next stop on the hop is Robin!
Before you leave, please be sure to leave me a comment in order to be entered to win a free digi of your choice from the Deedee's Digis store! You have until 12 noon Eastern Time on Sunday to comment. All winners will be announced on Monday at Crafting with Deedee's Digis -- be sure to check back then to see if you've won. Thanks so much for joining us today, and happy holidays to you!

I GOING TO TEAR MY HAIR OUT TODAY!

You may ask why I say that, well, I have these 3 cards plus about 4 dozen of their best friends for sale in my Etsy store and nothing is selling! Other then to start giving them away, I don't know what else to do! I really feel so bad about this. I know, the economy is bad. I know all this, but I also know I'm selling a wonderful product that's dirt cheap and they should be selling! I had some on ebay, and still nothing, so now their all back in my Etsy store!
Today I'm taking a friend from the Assisted Living home to coffee. Deloris is the sweetest person and I don't think she's that much older then me. Maybe 5 to 8 years. She lives there with her husband Tommy. They are so nice and we seem to have bonded. I used to see her on Wednesday's when they go to Walmart on the home's bus, but now that Barry is working during the week, I don't get there often. I saw her last weekend at a art show that the home had and she asked me to meet her yesterday at Wally World. I was trying to finish up my project for tomorrow's blog hop (you have to come back for that), but ran in and asked her to coffee this morning. I've packed up all the cards I have sold to take to the post office and then we'll be off for a while to enjoy the cool weather! Then I have to take pictures of my project for tomorrow and write it up.
Come back tomorrow for prizes and to see some new and fun things in our blog hop!

P

Isn't he cute! Another sweet Freebie from Meljens Images. I like BOLD images. Can you tell? Anyhow, he was fun to color and now he's for sale in my Etsy store! Please of please sell, sell, sell! I have 2 dozen holiday cards just waiting to go to a good home!
Have a great day!

THANKS FOR THE LOVE...IT'S SPEICAL!

It's been so nice to have some extra lovin from friends this week. I don't know what it was yesterday, but I seemed to need it. I just wanted to climb back in bed and cry myself into sleep! I know we all have those days and yesterday was mine! Hopefully, today will be a better one! I made this card over the weekend using a special digital verse from Deedee's Digis from one of three new sets of verses and the little girl is from Bugaboo images. I wanted to show you all that you can use digital images just like you would with rubber stamps to combine things! I love how the card turned out. So much so that I made another similar card with the same girl and verse!
I'm almost finished with the Crab and Co cards! YEA! The order is for 15 and I have 12 done. I need to finish up the other 3 and add the eyes and then I'll be done with that special order. I have an email yesterday about doing another special order---bring it on! Between what I have in Etsy and what I have on ebay right now, I have at least 4 dozen cards, so if you need one and don't want to go to the trouble of making it yourself, check them out! I don't have store anymore on ebay, but I sell under MINNIE4!
I'm off to see what trouble I can stay away from today...so have a great day, and hurry back!
Hugs,
P

WINNERS, COME ON DOWN!

Thank you for leaving comments this weekend! It's always so fun to read them! And because I had 3 wonderful friends leave comments, could Michelle, Sheri, and Paula please send me your snail mail address and I'll get a goodie out this week to you!
Today's card is made using a fun digi image from Bugaboo. They have some fun images to play with, but then I always think images are fun to play with. If you haven't tried digital, you should give it a go. They're easy to work with and just as fun as stamps! I think even more so because I can own lots of them for much less and get the size I need!
Have a fun day. I'm off to work on cards. I have 9 of the 15 Stampin Up Crab & Co made. Can't wait to finish them up and glue their cute little giggle eyes on!
Hugs,
P

And The Point Is....

I create almost everyday, and why do I do it? Oh yes, I enjoy the process, but the main reason is to sell, and since my things aren't really selling too much, I have to ask myself the point of creating! When I make cards, I put my all into them. I love the process of creating. I love the mixing and matching. I never pick out all the finishing touches until I'm making the card. I like to get a feel for the work first. I like to see how it all goes together, and then the ribbons, buttons, and brads. Do you like this darling little set? These Pure Innocence children always call my name when I need a lift and today's set was using one of those. I love how the set turned out. Now she's in my store and ready to go home!
Are people really reading my blog? I begin to wonder sometimes if they are. Leave some love and tomorrow night I'll pick a name and send out a small Thank You for it!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

YEA, IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY!

This sweet little snowman is getting ready for our cold weekend in Dallas! Finally maybe some fall weather is headed our way! It's hard to get down to the business of making Christmas cards when it's 75 outside, let alone buying Christmas cards! So now, they'll be no excuse for people to NOT be rushing to my Etsy store to buy, buy, buy! Yea, right! If only! I am working on a very nice special order for Mr Crabber and friends holiday card. He's a perfect card for people who live at the beach! Enough about other cards, let me tell you about this one. He's made using a Whimsie Doodles snowman image. It came with the verse as well. I used paper from a DCWV pad. I really wish you could buy some of the papers in the pads in single sheets instead of having to buy a whole pad of paper which includes some really ugly pieces. There's always some I love and some that make no me say WHY! I'd be happy with a pad that had just plaids and dots---that's my kind of paper!
So what's up for the weekend? Anything special planned? Take a moment, let us know what you're doing. We really don't have much planned. Barry is off to an eye clinic tomorrow morning and then is filling in for someone in the evening at work. I plan on working on my special order of cards and making tons more to add to the store. That's my plan, now if it comes off, I'll be OK! Sunday will be a lazy day I'm sue. It's suppose to rain and be cold all weekend, and my old bones say that's going to happen, so we'll be in most of the time.
Have a great day and hurry back. Leave a note of love today. Lets see if we can all leave a footprint!
Hugs,
P

IT'S SUNNY & WARM, SO IT MUST BE FALL IN TEXAS!

Yup, it's going to be 75 today in Dallas today, so you know it's Fall. We know this because it's going to be wet, rainy, and cold tomorrow! You know they say if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute! It's hard to get into the winter mode of making cards when it's spring all over again! Today is a food shopping day anyway! I know, I know, you want to hear about the pretty new card I'm sharing today. Don't you love snow people? Can you tell I do? Today's card is made using a Whimsie Doodles digital image. It's so sweet and fun to color. The little saying is from Hero Arts. I was able to use lots of scraps up from the DCWV pad, but the pile doesn't seem to be going down at all on my desk! What's up with that?????
I need to get lots done today, so I'm off. If you need a brand new holiday card, or a pretty birthday card, check out my Etsy store with the link on the right and grab an bunch!
Hugs,
P

NEW PRETTIES!

I know, aren't they sweet! Of course you think they are. Isn't that why you come around to check them out! And I thank you for that! I finally got on a roll yesterday. It just took me all morning, and most of the afternoon but finally I was able to get some new cards made! SIX and that was after I trashed several in the morning! Some days are just like that! My desk is calling me again this morning. I have several images all printed and ready to be colored and made into something. The first card I'm sharing today was made using an image from Whimsie Doodles. These images remind me of the toys the boys used to play with when they were little boys. I found a pad of DCWV in a box of stuff last week and couldn't wait to use the pink and blue colors. Bits of buttons complete the picture. The second card was made using a freebie gingerbread boy I got online. I have a "thing" for gingerbread guys! In my stash was this cute little gingerbread boy button charm I added for a bit of fun! All these cards and many more have been added to my Etsy store! They are priced to sell, so hurry and grab them before they're gone!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
P

IT'S MONDY AND EVERYTHING IS THE SAME

Such a pretty card! All the images are from Deedee's Digis! She's got lots of new images in her store now and even a sale on Fall images...check them out! I'm so happy that this card USED to be in my Etsy store, but there are still lots of others just waiting for a new home! That's what I meant by nothings really changed even though it's a new week. Other then running down the street with the cards taped to my back, I don't know what else to do to sell them! I'm really getting bummed out by this! I know other's aren't selling either, but that doesn't help when you depend on the income. Another day has come to our home, but it's the same choices. Gas or food! Barry has to have the gas for his car to go to work, and with that it again leaves me with under a $ until Wednesday! Great world we live in! It's such a shame that this is the norm these days. So many people having to do without the basic things in life that make life worth living! I'm not talking about more ribbon and glitter, I'm talking about food and gas! And it kills me because we are trying to make it. The only jobs out there in my area are sales in retail. I'm sorry to say, I can't even walk around the food store anymore without pain in my feet. I stood so many years on them working and now I seem to be paying the price. This past week was the worst it's been in a while. My mother had the same problems and I hope I'm not getting to be like her. So, now I'll go and make a few more cards, clean my house and see what else I can think of to get into at home!
Enjoy the weather!
Hugs,
P

COME SATURDAY MORNING...

SET OF 2 WISHING YOU JOY CHRISTMAS HANDMADE CARD
I'm so excited, I made it to Saturday morning! I have learned not to take any day for granted lately and today the sun is shinning and there is a chill in the air, so it's a beautiful day! Like the card? I wanted to make some really simple cards to sell as pairs. I made this one and a similar one (remember, no two alike!) and added them to my Etsy store. I don't have a clue who made the verse but I've had it for years. The package and Santa hat are from the SU Crab & Co set. I've been busy making more cards with that set and so just used the extra images for this card. See the snowflake? I wanted it to shine so I added lots of a yellow/gold glitter glue (a staple) to it.
Barry was out the door early and I didn't have to make him breakfast! It's a White Cane collection day for the Lion's Club and he's doing the morning shift. Yea---ME time! Later today Evan is coming over with our fixed computer! I'm so happy that I'm going to have my own computer and printer back! I miss them. I can't wait to print digital images! Tonight we're going out to dinner with Evan to celebrate Barry's birthday earlier in the week. I did hint he could bring the new girlfriend, but I have a feeling he won't. Too bad!
Well, I'm off to do something besides drink coffee and play on the computer. Wish me luck!

P

HAPPY CRABBY FRIDAY!

STAMPIN UP TROPICAL CHRISTMAS FUN HANDMAD CARDS
We still don't have our own computer back, but I was able to take some pictures with my camera and upload them to Evan's laptop and finally get some new things in the Etsy store! Do you love this pink creation? I know, it's too cute! Thanks to Jeanine I was able to make this fine looking card! She sent me tons of 6x6 pieces of paper and I am so blessed to have her as my friend. One of the things I can't do with the pictures is edit them, so it's not as clear as I would have liked, but the both the sea folks have google eyes. I have so much fun adding them to cards! The stamps are from Stampin Up. It's one of those sets I can't bear to part with, unlike so many I used to have. A bit of pink wrinkled ribbon is about all the card needed for a finishing touch. I added so many new cards this week, and of course, they still just sit there and look pretty! We're suppose to have a chance of frost tomorrow morning, and I'm hoping buyers will get in the winter mode then!
Have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 33 AGAIN, BARRY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE BOY HANDMADE CARD
That's right, it's my dear sweet hubsters 33 birthday again! He now has Medicare! What happened to that handsome young Army guy I married? Where of where did he go? I think he ran away with the pretty young bride I used to be! I'd also like to say a very happy birthday to one of our design team ladies, Jerusha! She's really closer to that 33!
Today's card uses the cutest cupcake little guy. He's from Bugaboo stamps. I'm so lucky to have friends that want to share with me, and I thank them for this image. It's hard to see in a scanned photo, but the cupcake has been cut out and popped up.
I hope everyone has voted early or is planning on voting today. It really is a right we have and we use use. It's important to vote!
Tonight we're going out with one of our friends, Brian, who is living at the Assisted Living Home. He's in Lion's with Barry and wants to take us out to dinner. That's a sweet thing to do. Evan called last night to say he was going to take us out but I told him about Brian and now we're going to go out with Evan over the weekend. YEA! Two dinners I don't have to worry about cooking!
Today I'm going to do a survey at the Mall. It only pays 12 bucks, but it's enough for gas in my car and get some eggs and maybe some coffee. Still no cards are selling in my Etsy store. They have gone back to the ugly forest I guess! Well I have to go back to working on more cards for the store.
Have a good day.
Hugs,
P

HAPPY MONDAY?

I know you expect a picture of a card or project that you just have to see, but today I don't have anything new to show. Oh yea, there is new stuff in my Etsy store, lots of it in fact, but since it doesn't seem to be going anywhere, you can just hop over there and see it! Please do more then see, buy! I really am at my wits end as to how to get more business in my store. My cards are pretty (I think so) and they are priced to sell, so now what do I do? I guess we give up eating until next week when it's payday. I want to make more cards, but having to go to Larry's to scan and then upload is a pain and if they're not selling, it does take the MOJO out of the picture! Maybe it will come back today, but I don't count on much of anything anymore.
Today I wanted to talk about voting this year and how important it is. If you follow my blog at all, you know I'm a Liberal---with a CAPITAL L! I make no bones about my leanings! Barry and I both come from Liberal families and we still are even with everything that has gone wrong with the country. I'm very pro-choice, and I think the government is the only one big enough to stand up for the working class. All that said, you should vote who you feel best represents you, just like I do. The only thing I ask is that people to the right of my way of thinking stop acting like they are speaking for me! I speak fine all by myself! The Tea Party seems to feel they speak for "all" Americans, but they don't. There are many Americans who speak just fine for themselves! WE can't go back to how it was in the beginning of our great country. The world is a very different place. If suddenly we didn't have education for all, even those with special needs, where would we be? If states had to decide who goes to school and who doesn't because they can't pay for it, then what? These are some of the things the far right think should happen! I don't want pray in schools, and I want to be able to chose to what's done with my body or any woman's body. Gay, straight, or in between, who's to say what's right or wrong. I know lots of Seniors who are scared. We are too. We've lost everything we have now, but I still have faith that the world is ok, and will be ok, but I don't want to give up the rights I have and one of those is voting! Please excise that right!
