It's a shame the mini vacation came to end! We came home last night from Galvestion. We had a great trip. The only thing wrong was that it was so short! The weather was great, and the pool was heated! We both got a little "color" on ourselves. Barry got a little more becasue he didn't want protection from the sun! Let's just say he's a nice red color! The location of the motel was perfect. We were able to park our car on Sunday and never go back until we packed yesterday! We had a great dinne at Rainforest on Monday. I can't wait to go back in the summer again!
Back to the real world today. Work is waiting for me at 1. Oh well, I have to pay for the trip! They called on Monday, but I was unable to come in and pick up hours! Too bad!
The card I made is similar to ones that I've seen all over the web. I love the backround image. My might be a little different because it's the Stampin Up digital image! How's that for fun stuff!
Off to the shower now and get back to the real world!

It's That Time Of The Year!

I know, it's hard to believe, but graduations are right around the corner and so I thought I'd better get a start of some cards! I love this image from MFT's. She's too cute and with this card I added lots of pink just to make sure you'd know it's for agirl!
Today Barry and I are off to the beach for several days. Can't wait! We, meaning I, need a break and Galveston is the place of choice this time! 2 nice nights are the beach are in order for the Bloom's!
Have a great week!

It's Sunday, and I...

don't want the work to come back! Have I ever said how much I like being off work? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of my job, and I like getting paid, it's just I don't like being there! I should be at home creating masterpieces I this charming little card. I used a freebie image from Whimsie Doodles and paper pieced it all. I love how it turned out! The only part I wasn't sure of was the bright, and I mean bright, card! It was the best I could find in my stash!

I only work the next 3 days and then I'm off for the weekend! Barry as convention Saturday and I'm going to see the girls wedding dresses. Can't wait, and we'll be ordering Madelyn's dress as well. I know I should start looking for myself, but I keep hoping I shed a few more pounds and can get something in the summer.

Well have a great start of the week, and hurry back soon!

Made It To Thursday!

I was off work yesterday and that makes it so hard to go back to work the next day! It gives me that taste of what I'm missing---sleeping late, playing the day away, and just enjoying life! If only....

Today's card is so fun! I lost this cherry image somewhere in my digi files and finally found it the other day, but then I couldn't find the red polka dot buttons from Valentine's Day. I searched all over my desk, and finally found two pink ones and I think they do just fine! I have about a million or so stamps all over my desk and finally found one that was the perfect size for this card. Sometimes it just comes down to size rather then verse!

Have a great day!

It's Not Monday, Is It?

I was off yesterday and I feel as if I lost a day somewhere! KWIM??? So since I have to work this afternoon, I got into my studio bright and early. I found several new digi's on DigiStamp Boutique and they had to be mine! I love how they had the little elements that you could print out and add to the card! FAB!

All my chicks are back in Dallas now. Home from their trips to see the other side of their families. I'm a happy Mom!

Off to work now.

See ya later!

Happy Passover, Happy Easter, Happy World!

I'm just dropping in today to wish all my friends and family the happiness of holidays this weekend! Last night was the first night of Passover and because my sons and their families would be out of town, we celebrated on Thursday night. We has a wonderful dinner, complete with the telling of the story of Passover. Good food and lots of love was the order of the day! My heart swells with pride when I see my sons as grown men! The only one missing was Coco. I do love that beast! They wanted a break from her, so she stayed home. Grandma will get her during the coming week! Evan Justin was able to make dinner with us. We are a lucky family to have each other!

I also want to wish my family that celebrates both Passover and Easter a wonderful Easter holiday. And please remember to bring Mother Easter candy!

Barry is working today and so am I, but we are both off tomorrow during the day. Barry is only working from 4-8 right up the street tomorrow night. Since I'm off Monday as well, I'm hoping to get to work on some new cards for the store. There are lots of fun ones just waiting for new homes, but it seems he older ones just sit there! What do I do??????????

Have a blessed weekend and stay warm in your families love!

Enjoy The Ride!

Isn't that what life should be all about anyway! These are two of my sweet children cards I made this past weekend. I haven't been able to post everyday this week cause we've been busy with just living. I thought I'd bring you up to date on the Zoo! We had bad, bad weather in our area yesterday but we didn't have anymore then a bit of hail dings on my card! I couldn't believe that was all. After the bad weather we went to see Red Tails. What a movie. If you like non stop action, check it out. Today I worked and this afternoon I've been cooking for Passover. My house has wonderful smells. The gang is coming tomorrow and that's when I'll let you smell all the goodies at my house!

Have a good evening!

Spread Your Wings!

Another one of those little girl cards that I love so much! I can't help it, I'm hooked on them! She went into my store and in an instant, she was gone! I used lots of scraps on my desk to make the card and now I think I have to have more made!

It's the start of a busy week at the Bloom Zoo. It started yesterday with Madelyn visiting us. She spend the night and we were up early and out to breakfast. Her daddy picked her up around 10 because they had a jammed packed day too, and then I started working in my studio. I got lots done and felt really good about my creations. Barry worked and we had dinner right before we fell asleep! It's a bummer getting old! Today I work from 2-6, but it lets Barry get lots of his paper work done so the rest of the week is free from that! Tomorrow we food shop for Thursday. The family will be over for Passover. Wednesday is work and then cooking. A busy time!

I hope everyone has a great week. Come back and visit soon. Leave a kind word or two!

Hugs,

P
