More Cards Waiting For a New Home!

I love the colors of these two cards! Digi this and digi that, make great cards! Just some more of the ones I have for sale. I also have lots of stamps in my store as well. If you want some good buys, check them out! Maybe it would help to know that you would helping me and Barry. Well, maybe not, but at this point, as I've said, I don't know what else to do. I've applied for jobs and don't even get a call back! Sad when Wally World doesn't want you!

This One's Still Left!

I can't believe I finally made it to the morning! I was up half the night trying to figure a way to make until Friday! It seems like I'm trying what I can, and it's still not working! How much can I keep adding to my Etsy store without sales? Of course that was my question all through the night. What else can I sell! I know I'm like a broken record, but each and every time I try to dig out of this hole, it just closes in again! They say money is the root of all evil. I don't it that's true or not, but it's sure coming close! I started out with 5.19 yesterday. Then I had to buy bread and milk. I ended the day with 1.48! Oh well, I know we'll figure this eating thing out!
Coco is coming to visit on Friday for the holiday weekend. The kids are going to Houston to see Mandy's family. We love having the doggie come and visit. I do anyway. I know Barry does, but he pretends it's a chore to have her. I don't see him saying that when they are both curled up in bed sleeping in the early morning! She does give BIG wet kisses!
Today Barry is off from work, so I think we'll hit the pool for a nice swim. It's good for my knee, not to mention the waist! I had a lot of pain Monday night in the knee. Barry thinks maybe a spur was hitting a nerve. Whatever it was, it was painful!
Now I have to go and have my first cup of coffee. I may need more then one!

Some Goodies for Sale In My Store!

It's so darn early in the morning, but Barry had to be at work at 9 and drive in rush hour to get there, so here I am, not so bright and shinny! I have had one cup of coffee, but in need of some more for sure. I'm posting a few of the things in my Etsy store that need new homes. I know that money is tight with everyone, but I still am going to try and make a go of my little store. It's getting harder and harder and I have to admit, I'm not feeling good about it anymore, but at this point, I just keep pushing on! It's coming down to eating or putting gas in the car again this week. Payday isn't until Friday and can't make both work until the end of the week. I keep counting dinners in the freezer, and pray a lot! How can a country so big and wonderful as ours is, be like this??? It's a question I ask all the time and what is the answer. It can't be to forget about the poorest among us and any health or welfare they need, can it? There has to be answer and answer has to be just for all, not just the few! We pay taxes, and then more of my tax money is going to help gas companies---something smells in BIG BUSINESS!

Well, now that I've gotten my soap box item out of my system today, I still don't feel any better, and I still have the same problems of trying to figure out how to keep going this week, but at least it's sunny out and I have coffee left in the pot!

This image is going to be a new stamp from Cat's Pajamas, but I had bought the digi image so time ago and so now I'm ahead of the game!

It's Hot, and I'm Tired, so....

not much news today! I'm still trying to figure out a better way to sell cards then what's now selling in my store, and haven't figured that one out yet. And I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to make until next weeks payday, so I'll just share my new card and wish you well!

It's Tuesday, Should Be Happy!

Yea, it's Tuesday and Barry is off to work for a while! That should be the one thing today that makes me happy, but it's still not enough today! We were up most of the night with big storms in our area. Lots of rain, hail, and wind! I wish I could go back and start the day again, but I don't see that happening. Oh well, I guess I better get a move on then so at least I get something done before Barry gets home from work. It's only part of the day today---too bad!
Like the new card? I think the Pure Innocence girls are so sweet and they are always my "go to" images to work with then my mind hits that block. Today's card is using lots of digi papers along with some stamps I bought at the LSS the day we had to get a new battery for the car. We did have to wait a long time for the guy to come, didn't we, and what was I suppose to do?

Don't Mess With The Moose!

Happy Father's Day to my dear hubby and to all the fathers around the world! Everyday should be a day to celebrate with your children, but if you only have one day, while have a happy!

We're going to Larry's for lunch with the whole gang. Evan is bringing his ladies with him, Mandy and Coco. I won't say which I want to see more---his girlfriend or his dog! You just have to guess on that one!

Today's card is made using some of the fun papers Madelyn and I got last week. We did have a ball collecting new digi things, and of course another Riley! I love how this card turned out---so fun!

Hello Hot and Sunny!

It's hot even at 9 AM! We're having July and August weather now in Dallas. It's just not fair to be this hot in June! Oh well, just more time in the pool and my tan is getting better and better each day! Thank goodness for high number sunscreen!
Barry and I spent several hours in the pool yesterday. The only problem is that when the weather gets so warm, the pool water does too. It's not as refreshing as when the water is a tad bit cooler---we suffer on!
Today Barry has to work at 4, and I hope to get some creating in. That is a big hope. I really do want to create, but then I wonder why! If cards aren't selling now, why add more?
Barry's dad isn't doing very well up in DC. Barry might go up next week. We'll wait and see. We were hoping to get there in July for his birthday, but it doesn't look like that may happen. I've asked him if he could go alone. I really don't have the energy to go with him and spend a week visiting my FIL. I'd like him to spend the time with him by himself. His brothers are up there so he won't be alone. It's all up in the air right now. I'll keep you posted.
Well, that's it for me today. Tomorrow is Father's Day and I still need to make my sweetie a card and for my boys as well. Better get going.

Madelyn's Newest Card!

I'm proud to say that Madelyn is a full blown card maker these days! She has her own style and for an 8 year old, it's pretty darn good! I love her sense of style! We ended our week together yesterday. Today her Daddy is taking her to Six Flags and I get to rest up from my busy week. Barry is off today as well, so we plan on just being bums! He's sleeping late, eating late, and going to the pool later. We do have to pick up the old cats of Larry's at the vet later since he'll be at Six Flags, he needed his parents again! The things we do for our children!
I haven't created anything all week. I did download a bunch of new free digi papers. It's a good thing Madelyn thinks that FREE is really great, cause she loves getting new papers as well!

You Mean It's Not Summer Yet!

It sure feels like summer when it's over 100 in the shade, but we still have another week to go! Madelyn and I spend a good part of the afternoon cooling off in the pool yesterday. Of course that was after we went to Michael's and Joann's! We picked up a few new crafting tools. I had money on my Mother's Day gift card that the kids gave me, and after a trip down crafting lane, we have nothing left, but we do have a new flower punch and a neat new wave punch! Because we had a 50% off coupon, we also have a candy making kit! She's already busy at the desk making things this morning!
Barry is off today and has promised to spend the day with us. Pool stop around 10. lunch and maybe a movie this afternoon. Madelyn and I play it very lose.
So, anyone out there got any ideas on how to sell my tiny little masterpieces? I have tons of new cards in my store, and there they sit! I really would like to sell them so I can add more, but I think I'm missing the boat on this one. Maybe everyone is out of town and just waiting to buy when they come back! Yea, that's it!

Wake Up America,,,

And smell the coffee! It's early again. Maddy is on her way over with her Daddy to spend another fun filled day with Grandma! We had a great time yesterday. We spent 3 hours at the pool-lots of water play, lots of food, and most important, lots of fun! Barry got called into work to fill in, so I had her the whole day. She made a card for Poppie, my FIL, made a card for her best bud, and hardly touched her IPod. We took lunch to the pool with us in the cooler, so at least I was able to dry out a little. Late in the day we went to the frozen yogurt place and finished off the day with more sweets! She has her daddy's sugar tooth!

Doggie Years!

You're how old??????????? In doggie years? I think this is a fun card! I've lost almost all the Whimsie Doodles digi images I got while on the DT last year, but I still have my puppy and kitty images, so I pulled them out yesterday to make another fun card to add to my store! When we had computer problems in the summer I lost so much stuff and I'm still finding out what all that was. Oh well, more room now for other "stuff"!

Did you see that Mav's win last night? I sure hope you got to see the greatest show on TV this week! We were the best team on the floor and we finally won! Go Mav's!

Maddy is on her way over this morning. We have her all week except Friday when her Daddy will be off. Since Tina just started a new job, she can't take off, so Grandpa and Grandma get to enjoy her company. It's going to be 100 today, so guess who's going to the pool! Not much time for creating, but so worth it!

Happy Days!

This card turned out just like I planned! Oh yea, I never really plan on a layout until I start working on cards--I forgot! Well, I did have an idea rolling around in my head, but it was for another image, and since I couldn't remember that idea, I started with another one! Isn't this a fun "guy" card? Why yes it is! The image is from last year with I was with Whimsie Doodles DT and it's still one of my favorite. I teamed it up with some nice "manly" digi papers---instant card (one hour later!)!
Today Barry is working again all day. 9-3 at the first place and then 4-8 at the one near home. It leaves me lots of time to create. Don't ask what, but something has got to pop into my head!
I'm making a nice easy dinner since it's not until 8:30 tonight and the Mav's game will be on. I'm doing Chicken Salad. I pan fry the chicken breast, let them cool, and then chop with up with onion and away we go!

It's A Riley Kinda Day!

Oh you know what I mean, just a day to kick back and enjoy being alive! I think I need to do that more often, but the weight of the world seems to hold me down most days, but today, I'm going to float away just like Riley! He's so sweet! If you now your Riley's, then you may have noticed that this fellow is in reverse of the stamp! I stamp him out on paper, scanned him in and then did the reverse on the computer! I wanted the balloons to face the other way, so with a bit of work, it was done. See how wonderful working with digital images can be? And they can expand what you have already! Of course the paper is digital. I have a trick to work with that as well that I'm going to share. Maybe you already know this, but if you want your digi paper to be a smaller print, then just print it to a smaller size. I love the 6x6 pads that you can buy becasue the designs are better for cards, but when I first got digi paper I would print it out to about 8x8. Then I figured out if I did the 6x6, I got perfectly sized paper for my own use!
Barry is working all weekend so I have lots of time to play in my mess. I did have to clean up the desk before I started this morning. Madelyn had a ball yesterday, but she is a bigger mess maker then me!

Friday Round-Up

WOW! Friday is here and so is Madelyn! We just came home from the pool and now it's lunch and nap time for Grandma! Mad is busying making cards. Guess who she takes after!! Isn't this little girl sweet? She's from Clairekay. She is looking for a design team but I don't know if I'm going to apply yet. I'm still in the thinking stage. Barry wasn't too happy when I told him about it, so we'll see. All the paper used is digi.

Gone Fishin!

I just think this card came out so perfect! Bright, fresh, and full of fun! It's a ClaireKay digi image. I used some cheery digi papers and instant card!
It's been a few long days at our zoo. Yesterday I went to the doctors for my 3 month follow up. They are upping the amount of the blood pressure meds. Not strong enough, and they are going to do some more blood work tomorrow. It's official, my knee is torn up! Keep treating it with hot and cold and only WALK in the pool. No kicking!
After the doctor we did some food shopping at Wally World. Since it was only 99, we had to come home and put the food away. Too bad! Lunch and then off again. I talked Barry into taking me to the Lss about a half hour from us. Then it was fault that the battery chose to die in the car! We knew it was going and with the heat we've had in the last week, it's time was now! We got a jump start and then drove straight back to Wally World for the battery! Needless to say, I am broke again! Don't you feel that it's the story of your life. Money today and gone in an hour or so! I have to look at the bright side, we have good eats in the fridge!
Well, I'm going back to work on some more new cards for the Etsy store. Barry is working this afternoon. Tomorrow we have Madelyn coming for the day, so not much gets done. Barry is working all weekend at both of his jobs, so I've got high hopes for creating!

Just Flyin By to Say Hi!

Just wanted to let you know I'm still alive, maybe not kickin, but livin anyway! Me and my knee have had it again, so I've been laid up a few days. It was on the road to recovery until I fell last week in the pool getting out and banged the kneecap. Then yesterday at Madelyn's dance recital, I hit the same knee on the back of the chair in front of me. I just wanted to die and crawl home at that point! It's been almost two months of sheer hell with this knee. Every time it seems to be on the mend, I hurt it again. Same knee! Oh well, I go to the doctor on Wednesday. Maybe they can use bubble wrap to make me feel better!
I am so happy with the way this card turned out, but I think I'm the only one since it has a permanent home in my Etsy store! At least I enjoy the Riley's! At this rate I can keep my FIL in cards for years!
Bed time for me. I really need to work on crafts tomorrow, but we'll see how that turns out!

Grandpa and his girl Coco!

This has been what we've been doing since Wednesday night! Isn't she the cutest! She's a real card! Fun and sweet, plus nice and doggy all rolled into one! Her daddy just came and picked her up and I cleaned up her leftover food. I mean leftover all over the kitchen floor! Messy eater!
Now I have to do a little cleaning myself. I think I smell like the dog!

Can You Have So Much Legally?

I've always loved stamping on frames. They make up so nice and are a great way to show off a special photo, so I did these two this week and added them to my Etsy store! I've used both Riley the Moose stamps and Stampin Up!

I'd like to stay and talk, but I have Coco now and she wants to eat all the ribbon, so I've got to go and save it!
