It's So Hot!

It's only going to be 105 today in Dallas, but hey, it is Summer and we have it every year! It always comes as a big surprise no matter! Madelyn is coming every morning and we pick her up after dance camp. Today I went to the thrift store and found the perfect blouse! All light and airy--perfect for this heat!

My card is made using some digi paper and a summer bingo card I printed out from a digi set. The flowers have been sitting on the kitchen table for almost a month and I finally broke open the package this morning! A small bit of glitter and they are perfect!

Hellow Sunshine!

We're home again! We've been staying at Evan and Mandy's home this week watching all the grandkids over there. We had Coco Channel, Tina and Monkey the cats, and the pretty fish kids! I sure hope they have two-legged kids someday! I loved waking up every morning to a nice big wet kiss from Coco and a warm kitty face in mine! Oh yea, Barry was there too!

I'm off work for the next several days. but we have Madelyn coming all week! Today I need to restock the food and do a little cleaning. After that I'm going to rest, rest, rest!

It's Another Monday, Again!

I can't believe another week is here already! Where is the time going! It will be summer next week and before you know it, November will be there and it will be Evan's wedding! I am just getting around to making cards for the summer and now I'm thinking about Christmas---what a life!

Do you love my little Whimsie Doodles girl? Too bad it you don't, I'm crazy about her! I know it's hard to tell, but there is watermelon papers in the back round papers as well.

Barry and I are babysitting Coco Wed till Sat this week. Evan went to Vegas today and Mandy will be joining him on Wednesday night. I can't wait to sleep with that big furry baby!

Monday, Monday!

I can't believe another month is there already! Where is the year going???? It is the best season right now if you love warm weather because here in Texas, we have plenty of that! Only 97 over the weekend! And I have a summer cold! A cold at any time is not a good thing, but in the summer they tend to linger around with the going in and out of the cool air! I guess I'll live, cause I have to work later in the day!

Almost Summer!

It's hard to believe that summer is almost here! It's so darn hot in Texas, you'd have thought it was Summer for some time now, but it's still Spring! I hope everyone enjoyed seeing the new pictures of Evan, Mandy, and Coco. I know it's not as cool as a new card or anything, but I still like to share them too! This card was made using some MFT's stamps. I love this image of the Daddy and little one reading.

Tomorrow is Madelyn's first full day of vacation for the summer, but the only week day she has before camp starts. She'll be there bright and early tomorrow morning. We're headed to the Scrapbook Show in Arlington. Barry is driving us. She doesn't really know what it's all about, but she's happy to go somewhere that has lots of craft "stuff"! She's as crazy as her ole Grandma! In the afternoon we'll be swimming in our pool. Can't wait to spend the day with her. She does want to pick up Coco as well, so we'll have to try and fit that in too!

My Children!

Finally some new pics of the engaged couple and my baby girl Coco! Aren't they the sweetest family! I'm so happy that they found each other! Today I went to the bridal shop with Mandy and her Mother so we could see the dress on her. She looked liked an angel. My son will be beaming when he sees her!

 The time will pass quick enough and all our family and friends will come and share the day with us!
