Almost Summer!

It's hard to believe that summer is almost here! It's so darn hot in Texas, you'd have thought it was Summer for some time now, but it's still Spring! I hope everyone enjoyed seeing the new pictures of Evan, Mandy, and Coco. I know it's not as cool as a new card or anything, but I still like to share them too! This card was made using some MFT's stamps. I love this image of the Daddy and little one reading.

Tomorrow is Madelyn's first full day of vacation for the summer, but the only week day she has before camp starts. She'll be there bright and early tomorrow morning. We're headed to the Scrapbook Show in Arlington. Barry is driving us. She doesn't really know what it's all about, but she's happy to go somewhere that has lots of craft "stuff"! She's as crazy as her ole Grandma! In the afternoon we'll be swimming in our pool. Can't wait to spend the day with her. She does want to pick up Coco as well, so we'll have to try and fit that in too!

My Children!

Finally some new pics of the engaged couple and my baby girl Coco! Aren't they the sweetest family! I'm so happy that they found each other! Today I went to the bridal shop with Mandy and her Mother so we could see the dress on her. She looked liked an angel. My son will be beaming when he sees her!

 The time will pass quick enough and all our family and friends will come and share the day with us!

It was so nice to hear from a few people yesterday, I thought I'd come back another day with another new card I made! While checking out Pinterest I rand across a person using lots of the Bugaboo images I already have but never seem to use anymore, so I did just that this morning! Cute? Why yes it is! Even the saying is a digi from a freebie I got last week! What a fun card!

I worked long hours yesterday and sleep late this morning! Barry went off to work at 8, but my head didn't see the light until 10! Talk about lazy, that was me this morning! Once I got up I did start moving. I got this card made, the kitchen cleaned, gas into the car, and a bit of food shopping! I even managed to watch most of the Rangers winning game on TV! It was a good day and now I have to cut some melon up for dinner and see what else I can feed Barry!

This Is My Life!

I know I haven't been around and the 3 people that used to come and read my blog must be long gone, but I'm still alive, just life has gotten in the way of my blog writing, so forgive me my long absents! You know when your MOJO has taken a trip without you sometimes you just have to have a "go to" image to bring it back---well the Riley The Moose and My Favorite Things are the one's that get my creative juices going again. Today's card is made using a Riley that I thought would be so fun. I really like how this card turned out. He's in my Etsy store if you're interested with a few other new Riley's!

It was a busy week. I worked long days and finally had a day off yesterday. We took Coco to the duck park so she could get some fresh air. She won't use the dog door at home, and I love to kiss that sweet sloppy face. Barry took puppy treats for her and we had a great time. Her highlight was when a few "walkers" stopped to pet her! That was the treat! After Madelyn got out of school we took her swimming in our pool. The water was still a bit too cool for me, but we made it anyway and then dinner with her Daddy. It was a great day for this Grandma!

Now I'm off to work and then I have several days off. I can't wait to play in the studio and clean house. It seems to have gotten away from me again!

It's Been That Long?

I can't believe I haven't posted in so long. I'm sure I meant to, but life is always getting in the way! I've been working lots of hours and Barry has too, so when we're not working I spend the time with him. It's ok since my MOJO was away as well! But today it seemed to return and I got the cutest little sets made and posted in my Etsy store. Perfect Teacher's Gifts!

It's a shame the mini vacation came to end! We came home last night from Galvestion. We had a great trip. The only thing wrong was that it was so short! The weather was great, and the pool was heated! We both got a little "color" on ourselves. Barry got a little more becasue he didn't want protection from the sun! Let's just say he's a nice red color! The location of the motel was perfect. We were able to park our car on Sunday and never go back until we packed yesterday! We had a great dinne at Rainforest on Monday. I can't wait to go back in the summer again!

Back to the real world today. Work is waiting for me at 1. Oh well, I have to pay for the trip! They called on Monday, but I was unable to come in and pick up hours! Too bad!

The card I made is similar to ones that I've seen all over the web. I love the backround image. My might be a little different because it's the Stampin Up digital image! How's that for fun stuff!

Off to the shower now and get back to the real world!

It's That Time Of The Year!

I know, it's hard to believe, but graduations are right around the corner and so I thought I'd better get a start of some cards! I love this image from MFT's. She's too cute and with this card I added lots of pink just to make sure you'd know it's for agirl!

Today Barry and I are off to the beach for several days. Can't wait! We, meaning I, need a break and Galveston is the place of choice this time! 2 nice nights are the beach are in order for the Bloom's!
