I'm Finally Back, I Think!

I know it's been so time since I really posted anything, so today is the day! I took a break from the blog, computer and making cards. Sometimes it's a much needed break and so it was! We our grand puppy Coco last weekend and that took some time. She only ate one roll of ribbon. What a good girl! Walking her was a job. She's a 45lb. puppy so gets very excited when she sees other people and dogs. My knee gave out a few times and I'm been nursing it all week and keeping ice on it. Barry is picking some hours at the newer part time job. Since it was just a back up position, he never really had any set hours, and that meant no set money. Now he'll be driving the little bus that takes the people to the store, doctors, and just for rides. And more importantly, he'll be out of my hair a few more hours a week!

Enough of me, check out my card. She's a fun image from Sassy Cheryl's digi stamps. I love her little girls. They are so fun! I water colored the image and then used some chalk to accent the

dress and hat. The paper is some digi goodness. The "hello" stamp is Hero Arts.

Fallen, Again!

If I don't fall every so often on my left knee, then how would life go on! Yes, I've done it again! This is the third time and my left knee is so so sore I could just cry! Barry is thinking of bubble wrapping me for my own protection! I spent the whole afternoon and evening with ice on the knee. It's feeling a little better today, but it's so sore.

I did have a tiny bit of fun news. I won a $5 GC over at Sassy Cheryl's this week! I'm so excited about that. I really enjoy using her images and free is the best! Now what to get.

It's That Time of the Year!

This sweet little Sassy Cheryl's graduation girl is jumping for joy today! I had this bright digi paper all printed out and thought it would make a fun card, so you might say it's got the brights!

We had a nice weekend with the kids. We saw Larry and family on Friday night and then Evan and Mandy for lunch on Saturday. I got to see my little Coco girl as well. She's coming to stay with grandma and grandpa over the weekend. Evan is bringing her toys, bed, and food. She small for a bulldog, but she still weights 45 pounds and gets into anything that at her level! I've been busy seeing what has to be picked up this week. I can't wait to love on her. She is so sweet!

Barry is working this afternoon at Hearthstone. It's the place near us. At least he's out of my hair for a few hours.

It's Friday! And It's Mother's Day!

You may know that it's Friday, but did you know that today is Mother's Day as well? Surprise! Well, it's Mother's Day if you're my son Larry and his family! We're invited over tonight to celebrate Madelyn's birthday and Mother's Day which both fall on Sunday. They have "plans" for Sunday, so Mom is Friday instead! Just thought you should know! We were suppose to have brunch with Evan and Mandy on Sunday, but he called last night and now it's tomorrow, so the heck with Sunday. I think I'll just stay in bed and celebrate all by myself!

Like the card? She is so sweet and she's going to be going to a new home today. Another Pure Innocence little girl from My Favorite Things. I love paper piercing. It really gives an image a great look! The paper is digi, of course.

Can I Just Run Away?

The answer should be yes, but I know it's not. Too bad! Life is just getting too hard for me again. Barry is driving me nuts and now I have to wait until Friday to pay the rent! We just don't have the money yet. It's a shame. I have to pay a late fee, but without selling all the goodies I've had listed now in my Etsy store, I'm left with no other choice. I've tried and tried and still, I fail at everything these days. Other then dance in the street naked, and hopefully folks would pay to have me keep my clothes on, I'm out of luck. Again and again!

Sunday Birthday Wishes!

Don't you think someone out there needs to have a very special Bunny birthday card? Well, me too! This little gem was made up using a fun digi image and wonderful, fresh spring digi papers! I saw this layout somewhere online and loved it, so thank you for the idea where ever you are!

Barry is working all day again today so I'm left to have some more of that "me" time. It's nice except for something happened to the shelves over my desk this morning and they broke lose and fell down raining craft supplies all over my desk and floor! What a mess to pick up! It's raining and very damp today and that didn't help with my knees killing me, so after several hours of picking up this and that, it's all put back in the baskets. I just don't have anywhere to put the baskets now! This moves to the top of the "to do" list!
