Can you say paper piecing? That's what I did with the top of the cupcake! I simply printed out the image twice and then on top of one of them I printed the green plaid paper, in a small size! With the 12x12 papers I can only get them to 8x8, but in this case I wanted the print smaller so I just printed about a 3x3 piece of the paper right over the cupcake. Then I cut out the part I wanted, glued it down and pretty new cupcake!
